Terms
Terms of use
The short version: NimbleMap is free, use it fairly, check important results yourself, and your maps remain yours.

Agreement
These terms apply to the NimbleMap app (凌波微图), NimbleMap Pro and nimblemap.com, made by Kangning Huang (“we”). By using them you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
The app
NimbleMap is free to download and use, including its analysis tools. It is a preview: features may change, and it may have bugs. Its source code is published under its open-source licence; these terms cover the app, the account service and the website we run.
Accounts and NimbleMap Pro
- An account is free. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- NimbleMap Pro (the Ask box) is currently free with an account and has fair-use limits on how many questions you can ask. We may change the limits, or offer paid plans in future; we will say so in the app before anything you rely on changes.
- Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to get around the limits, automated or bulk use of the Ask service outside the app, attacks on our servers, or using it to break the law.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account.
Your data
Your files and maps belong to you. We don’t claim any rights over them. Make sure you are allowed to use the data you open and share; map data and basemaps have their own licences and credits, shown in the app.
Answers and results
Analysis results and the Ask box’s answers are produced by software and an AI model. They can be wrong. Each answer shows how it was worked out, so check it, and don’t rely on NimbleMap alone for decisions about safety, health, money, navigation or the law.
No warranty
NimbleMap is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of NimbleMap. Keep copies of your files. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and significant changes are noted in the changelog. Questions: [email protected].
